Fighting God

       To this day similar unbelievers fight against God in Israel . Their " Never Again " mantra echoes still ; Never again will we have God as our ruler . Though they brought God's wrath upon themselves for millennia of disobedience they take no responsibility for their self-invoked turmoil and unrest , playing the race card , slandering conquering nations who do God's bidding . They cry of the millions of Jews who have suffered as a race , but millions of Gentiles have suffered too . Because they have amassed tremendous power through millennia of control of the world's religions , and in essence governments , their cry of anti-Semitism reverberates loudly . But the Bible tells of instances in which God himself killed large numbers of Jews . He did not command other nations to have the Jewish rebels killed but the Bible clearly states God himself killed them for their rebellion . Here are some of those instances .
      Numbers 16 tells us that the sons of Levi and 250 famous men of renown in the Jewish congregation challenged Moses' God-given authority . The Levites were God's priests whom Moses directed that God would open up the ground on which the men were standing and swallow them up for their disobedience . Though they had witnessed God's hand leading them out of Egypt safely by Moses and seeing 250 Jews killed by God himself many Jews remained hardened by unbelief . Verse 47 tells us that God sent a plague upon them for their continued unbelief . God's plague upon the people he proved he loved killed 14,700 more . It seems it may be time to develop a contingency of lawyers to take God to court .
       God smote the men of Bethshemesh because they looked into the ark of the Lord when he had commanded that not be done . 50, 070 Jewish men were killed by God himself for disobedience .
       2nd Samuel 24:15 says that because David disobeyed God by taking a census God killed 70,000 Jews by pestilence . At that time God was ready to allow the angel who brought the pestilence to destroy Jerusalem .
       The Jewish mantras " Never Forget " and " Never Again " had been stated in the old testament by the God who brought the Jews out of Egypt only to send them back again as Revelation 11: 8 proves the to be a people whose hearts constantly turns back to Egypt , the Talmud being their own proclaimed authority . Amos 8:7 reveals that ; " The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob , Surely I will never forget any of their works . " Hosea 8 :13,14 reads ; " They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings , and eat it ; but the LORD accepteth them not ; now will he remember their iniquity , and visit their sins; they shall return to Egypt. For Israel hath forgotten his Maker , and buildeth temples ; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities ; but I will send a fire upon their cities , and it shall devour the palaces thereof . Rejoice not , O Israel , for joy as other people ; for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God , thou hast loved a reward upon every corn floor . "
       KIng Abijah warned his fellow Jews saying , " O children of Israel , fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers : for ye shall not prosper . "  God enabled faithful Jewish followers to kill one half million disobedient Jews according to 2nd Chronicles . For all practical purposes , it was God himself again who caused the rightful death of 500, 000 Jews . Where are the Jewish lawyers today who will bring suit against God ?
       Pekah the son of Remaliah slew 120,000 valiant men of Israel because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers . Those numbers are adding up aren't they . Why ?
       God himself wanted to kill the Jews who worshipped Aaron's golden calf formed by all their golden earrings . But Moses pleaded with God not to do it and God honored Moses' plea . Later Moses slammed God's 10 commandments , ( tables of stone ) , on the ground and burnt the golden calf to powder and strawed it in the water and made the children of Israel drink it . Then Moses told all the men who claimed to be on the LORD's side to ready his sword to kill their brothers , companions and neighbors who did not join them . Those children of Israel killed 3,000 Jewish unbelievers . Exodus 32 :35 states that " the LORD plagued the people , because they made the calf which Aaron had made and said that the calf was the god that brought them out of Egypt . Revelation 4:7's second beast was like a calf oddly enough . You might think the Jews might make an issue of God himself killing over one quarter million Jews . He caused the killing of one half million Jews in a battle of Jew against Jew . Some day their false messiah will proclaim himself to be God in the temple of God , causing the beheading of 144,002 Jewish believers and their two teachers . As David Ben-Gurion prophesied the new world court controlled by the descendants of unbelieving never again rebels is emerging in Jerusalem .
       King David from whose lineage Jesus sprang had said I will never forget thy precepts . They will in essence remain in his reformed soul for eternity as they will in the hearts of Gentiles who became Jews through faith in David's Messiah .
