Perhaps decades ago I perused the state library's microfiche files looking for Joy Elmer Morgan's " The American Citizen's Handbook ( 1968 ) to which there was a reference -323.6 M822A1968 ) 1941 . Reports were that the NEA was ashamed of this book . Perhaps the following quote was the reason ; " the coming of the United Nations and the urgent necessity that it would evoke into a far more comprehensive form of world government places upon the citizens of the United States an increased obligation to make the most of this citizenship which now widens into active world citizenship ."  I believe that quote was from Morgan's " Your Citizenship in the Making " . Mind you , Morgan proposed not simple citizenship , but "active " citizenship , you know , kind of like the current activists who are burning up cities , shooting policemen , and raping and killing . I had put on the net years ago dozens of quotes from old Methodist Student handbooks espousing the same world government hopes including activism . Methodism's love for its communist front man of all the seminaries in New York decades ago , Harry F. Ward , is still expressed by the United Methodist Women . Maybe that is another reason why so many who knew of the communist influence in churches and schools and businesses and television and print media were purposely left prey to the Covid subversion .
