In his 12/14/14 sermon , " We Interrupt This Program " , Dr. Merritt said that ; " until 1961 the only person in history that even mentioned Pontius Pilate was Luke " , referring to the Biblical author , Luke . He then mentions that in Caesarea in 1961 a dedication of the town to Pontius Pilate was found . But regarding Pontius Pilate my old 1960 Encyclopedia Britannica had these references regarding those who had recorded facts about Pontius Pilate over 1500 years ago . I have copied them as they are presented in the encyclopedia . Here they are ; Josephus : Ant. XVIII , iii , 1,2; iv , 1,2; Jewish War , II , ix, 2-4 , Philo , ad Cainum , 38 . Pilate had been canonized in the Abyssinian church ( June 25 ) and his wife , Procla , or Procula , in the Greek ( Oct . 27 ) . Bibliography - see Tacitus, Annals XV, 44 ; G.A. I had cut Dr. Merritt a lot of slack because he seems to want to honor Christ amid his Masonic/Kabbalistic signals always given in every sermon . He said he based his doctoral thesis on his knowledge of Luke and I was impressed with his earlier sermon " Digging Deeper " , which left much truth unearthed , as does this sermon . He also said in this sermon that there were no records found prior to 1990 regarding the high priest Caiphas . But from 66 B. C. Rome appointed civil officers like Herod , as well as the Jewish office of the high priest . Caiphas' father-in-law Annas had been appointed the office of high priest by appointment of the Roman governor from 7 A.D. to 14 ( Luke 3:2 ) . There were more than likely Roman , as well as Jewish records of those appointments .
When I learn of your public exposure of the occult basis of the Masonic lodge , and your due Christian opposition to it Dr. Merritt I will post another blog lauding you for doing so .

Tchividjian ; A whole lot about nothing
Tullian Tchividjian's book , " Jesus + Nothing = Everything " is a Kabbalistic equation . He is presenting Kabbalism's Ein Sof ; Jean Paul Sartre's " Being and Nothingness " . Understandably , another of Trinity Broadcasting's false teachers , Jack Graham , heartily promotes this occult perversion of Jesus . This dialectical work infers a pantheistic / United Nations Jesus . I believe David jeremiah had made a similar suggestion in some of his sermons years ago .

Rededication and Chanukkah
At the end of his sermons the ecumenical Billy Graham would invite his listeners to make a " rededication " of their lives to Christ . The Jewish Talmud , he seems not to oppose , is used as a basis for "rededication " through Chanukkah , the Jewish festival of lights . This eight day occult celebration begins on the 25th day of the Jewish month of Kislev , the Jewish Christmas . This was based upon Shabbat 21 b Babylonian Talmud with its nine candle " chanukkiak " menorah . The traditional candle lighting time is ( 6+6+6 ) , or , eighteen minutes before sunset . Nine is an occult number ( 3x3 ) . Jesus died at the ninth hour . Kislev culminates with the winter solstice .

Jack Graham Shanghaied?
In his 11/30/14 sermon Jack Graham commended communist China's growing Christianity . He said there are now 100 million Christians there , and that China is printing its own Bibles . If the Christianity in America has been covertly controlled by Talmudists since its inception , how much more Chinese Christianity where the Talmud is highly promoted ? The Chinese government regulates and monitors , ( with television monitors ) , all activity of state sponsored and approved churches . Catholicism and charismatic churches , ( always rejected by Bible believing protestants ) , are the major churches there . And the state prints the Bibles used in government sanctioned churches . Surely another Jesus and another gospel are presented there . This false Christian movement will only help pave the way for the false Christ . Jack Graham is a fairly articulate and educated man . Surely he can't really believe that the largely charismatic and statewide Catholic church will promote true Christianity .
Tullien Tchividjian: Graceless
Pastor Tchividjian talks of giving up control of our lives but doesn't emphasize that we need to do just the opposite , keeping our hearts with all diligence , and consciously becoming totally obedient to Jesus . He talks of giving up control in the vein of " let go and let God " , a baseless , fatalistic relinquishing of godly ambition . His vocabulary usually contains the socialist term " radical " regarding Christians , suggesting they become so . He emphasizes God's ONE WAY LOVE , inferring that the love need not be a two way love . He says that is what One Way Love is ; one sided . This is Talmudic brainwashing . He says that Christians are all losers and are continuing failures and bad people . I'd have loved to see him tell that to the disciples . But he is laying a trap for the naïve and the unwary today . His major theme in this sermon , is again , the hopelessness of living a victorious Christian life . He says he at first hated Romans chapter nine . He apparently still not only hates Romans nine , but all the rest of the Bible which he continually denigrates via his dialectical sermons .
He reveals perhaps a love for the atheistic socialist Jean Paul Sartre when he said that God's grace for him was " existentially amazing to me . " God's grace has nothing to do with nebulous , anarchistic existentialism . He says it is foolish for Christians to keep themselves as the center of their Christian journey . This is another dialectical tact to throw Christians off the well beaten path trod by Christians for two millennia . Though Christ needs to be the very model and center of one's devotion , if one does not continually examine himself and make sure he is in the faith by orienting his thoughts and deeds for Christ , he is not going to grow in Christ and will be like the man with one talent who hid his one talent in the earth , for which Jesus condemned him to hell . Tullien lies when he says " living for God " is not to be the focus of the Christian faith . But there are hundreds of Bible verses that counter that lie . He states ; " the focus and the foundation of the Christian faith , hear it from me now , is not living for God . The focus and the foundation of the Christian faith is the glorious , counterintuitive reality that God lives for us in the person of Jesus . Without that there is no Christianity . " This drivel is the similar dialectical deception used by the socialists who paved the pathway for pastors like himself . It's hard to believe he wasn't ,( and still is ), a disciple of Jean Paul Sartre . He condemns all Christians who have denied themselves and were martyred for Christ by saying that Christians had better not hope that the focus of the Christian faith is " living for God . Mr. Tchividjian is quoted as saying that " Preoccupation with our performance over Christ's performance for us hinders spiritual growth because it makes us increasingly self centered and morbidly introspective . Sanctification is forgetting about yourself . " Mr. Tchividjian apparently doesn't understand that Christians are not constantly preoccupied with their performance . There is nothing morbid about being Biblically introspective and dying the morbid death Jesus suggested to his followers . And sanctification is something Jesus did to himself that his followers might be sanctified through the truth , which totally evades Mr. Tchividjian . God said he would magnify and sanctify himself when he shakes Israel when Gog comes against her in the latter days . Sanctification is not forgetting about yourself , but has to do with consecrating and purifying and making holy God's altars , vessels , houses , fields , tabernacles , priests and saints . But Mr. Tchividjian would have you believe otherwise . In his 11/30/14 sermon , " Thankful For What " , David Jeremiah remarked that when he and his wife see someone praying before they eat their food in a restaurant he immediately knows that those people are brothers and sisters . He adds that ; " Nobody who does not know Jesus prays for their food . " It is hard to believe this world celebrated author doesn't know that witches and Mormons and pagans also publicly pray before meals . Witches are called prayer warriors . More than likely those people actually are his brothers and sisters . His Eye of Horus is still displayed , but he has limited his Kabbalistic signs more recently .

James Merritt didn't dig deep enough
In his 11/16/14 sermon , " Digging Deeper " Dr. Merritt continues to display Kabbalism's reference to the oral law as he digs an open grave for those who have not yet discerned the untrustworthiness of the heretical Bible versions spawned by the 1861 Westcott/Hort Bible . He says his doctoral thesis was based upon his sermon which reveals the validity of the book of Luke . Dr. Merritt is not a stupid man and I expect that the documentation for his thesis is well founded . His work seems impressive . The downside of his presentation is the unspoken inference that all Bibles are now trustworthy . He did not point out the long accepted worthiness of the King James Bible , nor did he hint at the changes made after it . By not doing those things he failed to dig deep enough so that men may find the truth in a trustworthy source , but may accept the errors contained in Bibles printed after it . The downside of his incessant demonic signaling is obvious to those of us who have to some degree studied Kabbailstic witchcraft used in Masonry . When TBN associates , such as himself , hold up a Bible with seeming reverence you do not know which version they are promoting . Almost all of TBN's plethora of preachers have quoted the occult New King James version of the Bible .
David Jeremiah , the unjust judge
This deceiver continually exhibits his inability to rightly judge the truth of the word of God . As he continues to display witchcraft's signals during his corrupt sermons he again perverts God's word in his 11/16/14 sermon , " The Judge " . The very premise for his sermon is based upon the heresy of a false rapture , always rejected by those who truly know Christ . He lies when he tells his listeners that there will be two different judgments performed by Christ . He stated that ; " There will be no believers at the great white throne judgment . Believers are at the judgment seat ( of Christ [ inferred ] ) right after the rapture . " . He said that the people before the great white throne are all unbelievers , but not the believers .." Everybody at the judgment seat of Christ is a believer " he says ...and adds that " no one will be innocent at the great white throne . "
But , again , the Bible this man says he believes , proves him wrong . God gives no indication at all that there will be two separate judgments , just as it does not stipulate that Christ's return will be in two stages , as John Nelson Darby falsely proclaimed . Jesus did not challenge Lazarus' sister Martha when she stated ; " I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day . " Martha used the article " the " , inferring that there would only be one resurrection .
Acts 17:31 speaks of a singular day of judgment for both good and bad on a particular day ; " Because he hath appointed a day in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained . " On one day only will God judge everyone in the world, both good and bad . This verse does not say the bad in the world , or the good in the world , but clearly infers both .
Repeatedly " the day " infers the single day of judgment , as in John 12:48 which reads ; " He that rejecteth me and receiveth not my words hath one that judgeth him : the word that I have spoken , the same shall judge him in the last day . "
Dr. Jeremiah mentioned that the secrets of men will be made public . Surely he knows that the supposed secret signals he continues to give while preaching will be exposed . His comrades who had displayed the same "secret signals " for thousands of years along with the oral law will see them too . He even quotes God's word about his own calamity when he says ; " In that day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel . " Dr. Jeremiah uses the singular " day " and unwittingly asserts that all men will be judged on that day , contradicting himself . The phrase in that verse he quotes , " the secrets of men " of necessity indicates all men , not specifying simply either the good or the bad .
1st Corinthians 3:13 again states that everybody's work will be judged on one day ; " Every man's work shall be made manifest for the day shall declare it , because it shall be revealed by fire , and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is . " Whose work will be tried on one single day ? Not just either the good men or just the bad men , but ... every man's .
John 5:25-29 indicates that all will be judged at one time ; " Verily , verily , I say unto you , the hour is coming , and now is , when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God : and they that hear shall live . For as the Father hath life in himself ; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself ; and hath given him authority to execute judgment also , because he is the Son of man . Marvel not at this : for the hour is coming , in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice , and shall come forth ; they that have done good , unto the resurrection of life ; and they that have done evil , unto the resurrection of damnation . " Jesus said there would be one specific hour , therefore one specific day in which the dead would be judged ; the good and the bad ; all that are in the graves , which precludes immediate ascension into heaven after death for believers . Believers come out of their graves .
Hebrews 9:27 stipulates a single judgment for all men ; " It is appointed unto men once to die , but after this the judgment . "
Jesus told us what that judgment would be like in Matthew 25 in which he states; " When the Son of man shall come in his glory , and all the holy angels with him , then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory ; and before him shall be gathered all nations ; and he shall separate them from one another as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats . And he shall set the sheep on the right hand , but the goats on the left . Then shall the king say unto them on the right hand , Come ye blessed of my Father , inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world ; Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand , Depart from me ye cursed , into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels . " All men of all nations of all time will be judged according to these verses . Sheep and goats are mixed together and will be separated in " the day " of judgment . Even song parodies hinted that there would some time occur a " judgment day . " It seems that even the ungodly sense that . Jesus said in Matthew 13:30 that both wheat and tares would grow together until the time of the harvest , which is the end of the world In Matthew 13: 49 the wicked and just are still together at the harvest at which time the angels shall come forth and sever the wicked from among the just . This will be a singular harvest in one day at one particular time .
Dr. Jeremiah said that because of Revelation 20 :11 the earth and heaven fled away and that the great white throne judgment would not take place on earth or in heaven , but speculates that it will take place on some distant neutral planet . He says it can't take place in heaven because no sinner can enter the presence of God there . The greatest sinner of all time challenged God face to face in heaven regarding Job though . Dr. Jeremiah must have forgotten about that . Jesus' revelation to John about end times occurred in heaven and all action centered around it . Revelation 20 : 11 and 12 indicate that the great white throne judgment is still in heaven ; " And I saw a great white throne and him that sat on it , from whose face the earth fled away ; and there was found no place for them . And I saw the dead small and great stand before God ; and the books were opened : and another book was opened which is the book of life : and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books , according to their works . " Those books were in heaven according to John . The judgment took place in heaven according to John . The heaven and earth will not flee away until God has judged every man he created . Since God and his Son are the temple of the new Jerusalem , ( the new heaven and earth ) , no new sinless planet need be fabricated . Wherever God goes ultimate power and holiness go with him . When God makes heaven and earth flee , all memories of his judgments of sin will flee with them , for both Him and His children .

Why we prefer the King James Bible
This is also known as the authoritative version which was translated by some of the most learned men of the time who debated in Greek and Latin . The unwary today are impressed by deceitful preachers who convey the meanings of a few Latin and Greek words which can be found in concordances . I doubt that any of today's false teachers could debate in Greek or Latin . The King James Bible translators predecessors John Wiclif and Willian Tyndale were demonized for translating the truth of God's word so that the common man could hear God gladly . Wiccan Socialist ?
Just before leaving this morning I heard John Michael Talbot mention the socialist mantra , " the unequal distribution of the world's wealth . " I had turned the sound down when he came on , only looking for the witchcraft signals he always makes . Most of TBN 's deceivers' talks are as foolish as his and I primarily continue to look for more middle finger gestures , which has become a waste of time now , obviously , with so much exposure . I don't go out of my way to watch him . As I turned the volume up later I heard him make the obvious socialist deception . In his "Gospel Poverty on the net , he mentions ; " the unequal distribution of the world's wealth , which in turn gives rise to violence and war . " That is why Cain slew Abel ; the world's unequal distribution of wealth ! Mr. Talbot's appearance , signals and ideals indicate to me he is nothing more than a Wiccan socialist at heart .
Smitten by the fists of love
Billy Graham and hundreds of other TBN personalities have formed witchcraft's " god " sign . The bearded man at the top left is displaying the American Sign Language pose for the word " love . "

When you lovingly hug someone , the common man , or woman , keeps their palms open when placing them on the back of the loved one . Clenched fists would not be used to convey love in that position . The crossed arms are indicative of the Egyptian Masonic "X" of death , rejection and prohibition of God's love . Fists do not represent love and are mentioned as instruments of hate and anger in Exodus 21:18 and Isaiah 58:4 . Why Max Lucado can't stop sinning

" He tells of Mr. Lucado's desire for " Denominational Harmony " , as does the ecumenical Billy Graham . He quotes Mr. Lucado's statement ; " the sin of disunity causes people to go to hell . "

Max Lucado can't stop sinning
I have only watched one or two of his programs and I have watched him make several of the same witchcraft signs given by TBN personalities . I heard only a few minutes of his sermon today in which he challenged Christians to try to stop sinning for 24 hours . Then he whittled down that challenge to one hour , then strained it down to five minutes . He said it couldn't be done and that only Jesus Christ lived the Christian life . Charles Stanley and Billy Graham had both previously barked that dogmatic lie . If you ever truly trusted Christ did you stop sinning for a few seconds ? Surely you did . Jesus died to take away your sins and he continues to forgive them as you walk and fall occasionally . The old testament major personalities were often pronounced righteous , ( sinless ) , with God by faith . Surely the disciples refrained from sin by faith for more than five minutes at a time , while they walked with Christ during his ministry and even more so after his ascension into heaven . Deceivers like Mr. Lucado , ( who displays the cross fallen down in his sermons ) , continually try to deter Christians from living a victorious Christian life with heresies like this . He , Billy Graham and others of their ilk often present the correct gospel , but the devil doesn't mind their work , for he knows if listeners follow false leaders such as these the listeners will accompany him to hell . Living the Christian life can be and has been done by all the old and new testament saints . Overcoming is the hurdle that deceivers like Mr. Lucado don't want to see you leap over , nor even approach .

Men who use the deception of counting using odd positions with the middle finger are ; Charles Stanley ( twice), Dr. John Tolson , Paul Crouch , David Jeremiah ( twice ) . I loaded a picture of Jan Crouch and another of a woman guest at the Crouch ranch doing the same . David Jeremiah and Kenneth Copeland each pointed to the Bible with their middle fingers . I placed on Blogger and YouTube over 200 pictures of these men forming witchcraft's " witch's pyramids " , Masonic "X's " , witchcraft's god and goddess signs ,( which also have meaning in Masonry) , witchcraft's devil hands , and a sign I have surely incorrectly have labeled as " Billy Graham's Mumy's Ghost " . Blasphemous signals like this and other oocult signals given by TBN personalities reveal their true allegiance . Surely , the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands .

Only A Remnant Saved
Both the dictionary and Strong's Concordance define a remnant as being a fragment or scrap, a trace , or residue or remainder . Paul lamented that he were not accursed from Christ for the sake of his Jewish kinsmen who were not Jews by faith in Christ . He said that only the children of Isaac , the children of the promise , would be God's vessels of mercy , as would be Gentile believers in Christ .

Following in the missteps of his grandfather
I thought I'd listen to Tullian Tchividjian at least one more time to assure myself of my assessment of his occult ministry . In his 9/28/14 sermon he dogmatically stated that " Christians are hypocrites " more than once . He thus condemns all of Christianity with his propaganda . Many faithful Christians know other Christians who are faithfully submissive to Christ and are not hypocrites . However , when I speak with non-believers about charismatic Christians , they echo Mr. Tchividjian's sentiment regarding Christianity . Mr. Tchividjian admits in this sermon that he himself is a hypocrite , as to a degree did his grandfather , Billy Graham . Some of the apostle Paul's helpers turned out to be turncoats , but Paul named many specifically who were sterling examples who hazarded their lives for the cause of Christ . This man lies when he says Christians live for themselves . His view is apparently subjective , and probably based upon the charismatic crowd with which he associates through the ungodly TBN family . Like his heretical grandfather , he continues to call Christian saints sinners . But the Bible says that you will know you have turned from sin and have been forgiven of them when you trust Christ as Saviour . Both he and his grandfather want to keep those who believe in Christ constantly chained to sin , never able through the power of Christ to overcome its hold . But Jesus said you could . Mr. Tchividjian said that judging people is idolatrous . If Christians did not rightly judge heretics like himself there would be no church at all . Philadelphia and Smyrna , two apparently sinless churches , cannot exist according to his perverted and unBiblical view . He later states ; " the issue is not whether or not we are hypocritical ; we are ; everybody is . " That , of course is a lie . And he is calling Jesus a liar by saying that Jesus himself cannot keep saints clean and free of hypocrisy . He says that each time the Christian church is criticized Christians should say , " Bingo " , spontaneously agreeing with their detractors . He adds to that by saying that Christians should add to that acquiescence , " We are even worse than you think we are . " TBN's charismatic brand of occult Christianity might well accept his baseless criticisms , but faithful thouhtful Christians never will . Though he feigns support for forgiveness of sins , his dialectical sermon offers nothing but despair and hopelessness . For him , apparently , Jesus words , If you have faith of a grain of mustard seed , I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me , and sin no more ring hollow . I usually do not waste time with men of his ilk , but because he is Billy Graham's grandson , I wanted to confirm my suspicions precipitated by the only one previous sermon of his I listened to . I continue to keep an eye on TBN's WASPy preachers because their hypocrisies are just as dangerous , but not as obvious .
David Jeremiah's gross deception regarding the 144k
In his 9/28/14 sermon , " Agents Of The Apocalypse " , David Jeremiah's regard for the dozen tribes of Israel proves again he dozen know what he is talking about . He begins by using Masonry's pet word " chaotic " when he speaks of the " chaotic state of our world . " He says the unlikely source of a great spiritual awakening will come from the twelve tribes of Israel preaching the gospel resulting in a revival in the nation of Israel . He says the 144k believers in Christ will testify of Christ to those left behind during the tribulation . There is no hint of that happening in the Bible .
Although he had earlier denied being a prophet he hawks his book , " Answers To The Unsolved Mysteries Of Prophecy . "
He says the greatest spiritual awakening of all time will occur due to the testimony of the 144k Jewish virgin males while he promotes the Masonic friendly secret six's Cyrus Scofield unBiblical " rapture ." The 144k are not evangelists . They can only be the last people in the world to accept Christ before he returns . The time of the Gentiles has obviously passed . And Mr. Jeremiah again deceives when he reports that they will have the seal of God " on " their foreheads ; God the Father's name written " in their foreheads " he says , thus contradicting himself . He says that it won't be hard to identify them , who he says are sealed against persecution . He lies when he says that when they preach people will fall on their faces because they evangelize . The two witnesses will demonstrate God's power regarding their own personal protection , but the 144k will not . That is why the tribulation period is called the time of Jacob's trouble . The only portion of God's church who will reign with Christ for 1000 years after Christ's return will be the 144k . The Bible doesn't even include the two prophets who evangelized them . Dr. Jeremiah deceives when he says millions of people will come to faith in the gospel through them during the time of unprecedented distress .

But what did Jesus say happened after he pours out his judgment upon Jerusalem and the rest of the earth's inhabitants for their disobedience ? Jesus said that not shortly , but immediately after the tribulation his judgment would come . No evangelism takes place after the tribulation .
Dr. Jeremiah misappropriates Revelation 7:9 's great multitude which no one could number to those saved by a gospel never given by any one of the 144k , else there would be more than 144k saved . Revelation 11:2 tells us that the Gentiles will tread down Jerusalem for forty and two months . Revelation 11:13 and 14 speak of the ascension of the two witnesses to heaven . James " Bailey " Merritt
More of James Merritt's heresies are obvious in his 8/31/14 sermon " The Right Connection " , which was probably the same sermon aired 6/29/14 . Mr. Merritt says he doesn't use the word Christian any more , calling it a misunderstood word . The apostle Paul accepted the derrogatory title in Acts 11:26 . The term Christian was so well understood in the days of the early church that King Agrippa used it and said that he was almost persuaded to become one . Peter said , " Yet , if any man suffer as a Christian , let him not be ashamed . " Peter wasn't suggesting that the name Christian should have been shunned by followers of Christ . My Strong's concordance defined Christian in the Greek as " followers of Christ . " Why doesn't Mr. Merritt want to apply the name of Christian to those of us who follow Christ ?
Mr. Merritt lies when he says that " you can't live the Christian life " and that trying to do so " is impossible . " He said the only person in the world who lived the Christian life was Christ . Ergo , according to Mr." Rightly " dividing the word of truth Merritt , neither did Paul nor any of the disciples fulfill Christ's mandate to become like him . Mr. Merritt's blindness never ceases to amaze me .

In the book of 1st John verses 28 and 29 of chapter 2 tell Christ's children to abide in Christ " that when he shall appear , we may have confidence , and not be ashamed before him at his coming . If ye know that he is righteous , ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him ." Doing righteousness is walking by faith as Christ walked . That was Christ's purpose for coming to earth , so that he could through his Holy Spirit give us the capacity to emulate him by applying his words to our lives . A few verses later in chapter 3 , verses 2 and 3 Jesus spoke through John saying , " Beloved , now are we the sons of God , and it doth not yet appear what we shall be : but we know that when he shall appear , we shall be like him , for we shall see him as he is . And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself , even as he is pure . " Christians can do that because Christ says in the fourth chapter of the same book ; " beacuse greater is he that is in you , than he that is in the world . " Each believer must purify himself by faith so that he may become without blemish or spot . Purifying yourself takes conscious effort .
And Christ said we could be like him in this present world , 1st John 4:15-17 , stating ; " Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God , God dwelleth in him, and he in God . And we have known and believed the love of God hath to us . God is love ; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God , and God in him . Herein is our love made perfect that we may have boldness in the day of judgment : because as he is , so are we in this world ." Maybe Mr. Merritt didn't read this passage , " as he is , so are we in this world . " Becoming like him in this world is possible and expected of Christians by the One who created them .
Romans 8:29 states that Christians were predestined " to be conformed to the image of his Son , that he might be the firstborn among many brethren ." 2nd Corinthians 3:18 says ; " But we all , with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory , even as by the Spirit of the Lord ." Colossians 3:10 states that Christians " have put on the new man , which is renewed in knowledge , after the image of him that created him . " Clearly the Bible says Christians are to be conformed to the image of Christ .
Throughout the epistles the Holy Spirit tells Christians to put off the former conversation the old man , which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts , and to be renewed in the spirit of their minds , putting on the new man , which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness . Paul knew by faith that he could do all things through Christ who strengthened him , and that he had not yet become perfect , but was striving for the mark . Paul told Christians to follow him emulating his example of striving for perfection . I have never heard one modern day preacher suggest that Christians follow their example . But Paul said it , because he continued to grow in Christ by faith and obedience . There's the rub . Preachers use the hollow excuse of being " human . " What an excuse not to pick up the cross . But if you truly trust Christ you have superhuman power to become like Christ as did the disciples , the apostles , and Paul . Though Paul said he did things he did not want to do , surely he was very much like Christ . Paul's quick temper when smited may have been a besetting sin he had to overcome . I doubt that Paul had not conquered much of his old man by the time he finished leading the Gentile church , or prior to it for that matter . The disciples must have done likewise . Or were those obedient and courageous faithful men merely spiritual whimps who used the excuses Mr. Merritt uses to prohibit Christians from reaching their full potential given them by the God who made them ? Billy Graham and Charles Stanley both said you can never be perfect . But that is what Jesus demands . Years ago I made blogs refuting their heresy . After so recently associating Joseph Prince with Alice Bailey because of her love for " Right Thinking " I could not help but associate Mr. " Right Connection " Merritt with her also .

Gorbachev and Graham
Mr. Graham may have actually believed Mr. Gorbachev was not actually evil when he mentioned in one of his old televised sermons that he had spoken with the ever committed communist Mikhail Gorbachev who proclaimed that Jesus was the first communist . Mr. Graham had once spoken with the world's " Mr. Green " in 1987 at a White House state dinner . Mr. Graham was then quoted by the New York Times as saying ; " It was the highlight of my time so far . Mr. Gorbachev summed up what is happening in the Soviet Union , what he believes about the future . He painted a beautiful picture of the world in which we are all brothers . " And if Mr. Graham had talked with the United Nations' co-Mason , Alice Bailey , he would have been quoted by the New York Times saying the same thing .
Mr. Graham said in this sermon that he had studied everything he could get his hands on about the occult Mayans who cut out human hearts . ( The United Nations' brotherhood of Masons may have been impressed with that . ) Oh , that Mr. Graham had studied everything he could have about communism within the U.S. government ; communism he supposedly opposed . Oh , that he had read about Mr. Gorbachev's call for a " nongovernmental commission of wise men " and a " Council of Elders " such as that which is still controlled by the Pharisees . ( Or had he ? That Council of Elders might of necessity have made Mr. Graham a token Elder .) Oh, that he had studied the demonic depths of the communist/Talmudic machinations of Mr. Green Cross International's promotion of religious tolerance which gave a green light for Mr. Graham to preach his gospel of commitment to communist selected crowds in Russia . Mr. Gorbachev knew that allowing Mr." Facing Both Ways " Graham to preach would further enable Mr. Gorbachev's " spirit of global solidarity ", further subverting a beguiled world with greater depths of communism . Mr. Gorbachev's goal has always been to revive and restore communism , which is the new Federalism , which is Talmudism , whose hopes are to produce occult Christianity's " one new man . In 2006 The Progressive Labor Party Literature regarding Road to Revolution , ( Revolution being TBN's mantra ) , stated this ; " Everyone must be a communist organizer for this to work ; we must all give and receive leadership from each other . Communism can be won only through armed struggle of workers , soldiers , students and others to destroy the dictatorship of the capitalist class and set up communism-dictatorship of the working class . " Notice that communists require "armed"
struggle . It is communists who stir up crowds and agitate situations worldwide which result in civil disturbances and rioting in which people are seriously hurt and often killed . The common protesting man or woman does not bring a Molotov cocktail to throw at police during " peaceful " protests . Communism hopes for a world of one religion under one messianic dictator ; Alice Bailey's Masonic dictator of perhaps Jewish Cohen lineage who will do away with the aspect of Gentile Masonry entirely before he proclaims himself God in the rebuilt Jewish temple .

Dispensational Dissonance
The Scofield reference Bible exacerbated the heresies of dispensationalism to the point that the church has been almost totally subverted by its lies . Cyrus Scofield was tutored by the dispensationalist John Nelson Darby who crafted the unbiblical " rapture " which had not been heard of until 1827 years after Christ's death . Did Jesus forget to tell us something ? Darby also taught Scofield about an unbiblical seven dispensations which were considered to be nonsense in his day . Darby himself was unsure about his own unbiblical additions until 1845 . After visiting an occultist named Margaret MacDonald , who falsely prophesied and spoke in tongues and made the ludicrous assertion that Christ's return would be in two stages , Darby began the Plymouth Brethren in England . Darby falsely claimed that parts of the Bible were directed only to Jews and not to Christians . He was a great influence on Cyrus Scofield who contrived a reference Bible in 1909 . Scofield received financial aid for his heretical work by a conspiratorial group in Boston known as the Secret Six . He accepted the heresies of two socialist spiritualists named Westcott and Hort who knew themselves to be heretics and doubted that their works would be accepted . Scofield's heresies are documented in the works of Charles Trumbull and Joseph Canfield who was influenced by Scofield .

Scofield's dispensational chart from the Divine Plan of the Ages , ( still used in a form by today's churches thanks to dispensationalists like Tim LaHaye and Hal Lindsay ) , was based upon the heretical ideas of the Jehovah's Witness Charles Taze Russell who believed in three dispensations . Serious dispensationalists who say they believe in the King James Bible occasionally have the temerity to tell those who do not believe as they do that they will go to hell . These people are wiser than seven men who can reason with them . It will take prayer and fasting to enable them to realize the truth they say they find in the King James Bible . Arguing with them is an exercise in futility and is unbiblical also .
