Loan problems as of 12/29/25

After obtaining a loan with an apparently very disreputable company months ago I went to my bank for the third time regarding an issue that should not have occurred . The bank officer understood the reason for my concern seeing the online accusations regarding fraudulent practices of the company . I had lost my Visa card a month or so after beginning the loan and understandably one payment was missed because I forgot about losing the card which was reissued to me . The payments had been set up to be taken from my bank account automatically . No action had been taken on my part to enable this , nor was it ever necessary . I had been charged over $100 previously for the missed payment for I don't know how many days , for which I had been told I would be reimbursed for non payment due to my loss of the card . The onus was upon me for the problem at this point . After that , however I continued to receive threatening messages regarding late payments for the month of December , until yet today , December 20th , 2025 . I have no control regarding payment for the loan . I will be contacting my state attorney general ASAP . This loan company has numerous complaints inferring it is an intentional scam that utilizes deceitful dishonest practices .
