Dispensational Heresy

                                           Dispensatinal Heresy

John Nelson Darby  devised the unbiblcal deceptions of a secret “ rapture” , and the false belief of seven separate areas of God’s dealing with men between the creation and final judgment . He did this while a member of the Plymouth Brethren in 1827. These seven absurd and unbiblically founded areas were given his pet name, “ dispensations”. In his day, Darby’s heresies were considered  “ the height of speculative nonsense ”. True Christians are able still today to echo that correct  assessment. Until 1845 he himself had doubts about his own unbiblical inventions.

In 1830 a woman in Scotland whose name was Margaret MacDonald went into a trance
( nothing like Peter’s), which related to the world’s end. She wrote down her “ vision”.
Edward Irving’s church labeled her a prophetess. Irving’s forte was healing , speaking in tongues, and prophecy, similar to today’s charismatic cult . Irving’s church historian claimed Margaret the first person to teach  Christ’s return in two stages. After visiting her in her home, Darby began the Plymouth Brethren in  Plymouth England. Apparently God had not included this “vision” in the Bible for 1827 years. He must have left something out. Messrs Darby and Scofield discovered it.

Messers Darby and Scofield have formed much of the so-called Christian thought in the
19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. Here are some of their major heresies.

Mr. Darby assumed the gospels were addressed to both Jews and Gentiles. Though this is correct, Darby insinuated that parts of the Bible were given specifically for Jews, which is false. The Bible is for the believing church, which may include converted Jews, but there is no part exclusively written for unconverted Jews .

He influenced Cyrus Scofield who continued  Darby’s heresy by devising a reference Bible in 1909. Scofield acknowledged Hort and Westcott’s help gladly. Scofield’s false Bible version spread the heresy of dispensationalism . Had this Bible not been crafted dispensationalism might have been ignored. There were many scandals circulating about Scofield which appear quite valid, and traceable. To be fair I have not discerned if these occurred before or after his so called conversion. I largely disregard them therefore , because his perversion of the Bible, and his Satanic influence in the world today is enough indictment.

Scofield taught the Lord’s prayer was for the Jews, and that Christians should not recite it.

Scofield devised the timetables utilized by men like Hal Lindsay  and Tim LaHaye.Scofield’s notes advocated the “ gap” theory regarding creation. The gap theory refutes God’s statement of His literal six day creation. D.L. Moody was apparently responsible for perpetuating dispensationalism in America, incidentally. In 1890 Scofield began a Bible Correspondence Course  which was eventually taken over by Moody Bible institute which spread worldwide the dispensational heresy. Scofield was the head of the Southwestern School of the Bible in Dallas for a while. This was the forerunner of Dallas Theological Seminary. Dispensationalists assert they have special claim to truth. Foolishly, most people sear their consciences when they hear or read heresy in seminaries. They know what they are reading or hearing is Biblically incorrect, but are afraid to challenge the disseminators of false information. This is why most churches  in America are  weak , ineffective , and leading people astray, not warning them to prepare themselves in readiness for Christ’s return , banking on the hope of “ the rapture” to whisk them away to heaven. It isn’t that simple, and their timing is not correct.

It is my understanding  that for a long time,  Darby’s false beliefs were propagated at Dallas Theological Seminary, and Bob Jones University. In 1950 LaHaye received a B.A. from Bob Jones University. He accepted money from an operative of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, and was critciczed for that, and , also for joining Moon’s Council for Religious Freedom which protested Moon’s 1984 imprisonment. He spoke at a Moon event in 1996 and has yet to sever ties with Moon to my understanding.  Some of the alumni of Dallas Theological Seminary are; Chuck Swindoll, Dr. Tony Evans, J. Dwight Pentecost, Hal Lindsay, J. Vernon McGee, Charles Ryrie and John Walvoord. Dallas seminarians serve in 62 denominations . Dallas Theological Seminary has  27 international seminaries and Bible institutes and has been an integral force in the dissemination of dispensationalism.

Dispensationalist doctrine is that the church is not a fulfillment of the Old Testament, but was a new revelation to the apostle Paul. It states that the church age will end at the “rapture”, which will be the first stage of the second coming of Christ. After the “rapture”, ( an unbiblical term), the church will be caught up in the air with Christ for seven years. This will be Daniel’s prophetic 70th week according to their incorrect interpretation. Christ’s visible return will occur after the end of the seven years.

Today there is a new “ progressive” dispensationalism. I am wary of the leftist , collectivist , socialist term “ progressive”. LaHaye, Lindsay, and most, if not all television evangelists and particularly, the charismatics dogmatically, but falsely assert that nothing else need happen before Christ’s return . Apparently they cannot see that the temple must be rebuilt for the antichrist to sit in, and that the two witnesses need to appear.

Jerry Falwell endorsed LaHaye’s Left Behind series as being literature all but comparable to the Bible.

The following pages will give Biblical refutation of Tim LaHaye’s, Mr. Lindsay’s, and Darby’s and Scofield’s heresy regarding the false timing and false aspects of Christ’s return. Jesus said these things must occur before He returns. If you agree with the previously mentioned dispensationalists I would like to see your Biblically based refutation. You might not be smarter than a fifth grader, for even an unsaved fifth grader could read Matthew chapter 24 and correctly discern Christ’s timing regarding His return.

I suggest you get an old King James Version Bible , and reference it as you read this. It will help to have chapter 24 right in front of you, so that you can follow God’s own written sequence of events.

In Matthew 24 Jesus wants his disciples to understand to a major degree, the circumstances preceeding His second coming. He seasoned His words with salt in the second verse by telling them;  “See ye not all these things? Verily, I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down”. This prophecy came true in 70 A.D.

The disciples then asked Jesus in verse three querying ; “  Tell us when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?’ Rick Warren in his book , “ The Purpose Driven Life ”, on page 285 lies to you when he says Jesus quickly switched the conversation to evangelism when the disciples wanted to know about His return , saying the details of His return were none of their business. This is one of a multitude of blatant lies Mr. Warren uses in his propaganda. Jesus begins to reveal to them in verse 4 the signs of His coming and warns them not to be deceived. Verse five continues ;  “ For many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many”. Christians can identify those of the synagogue of Satan , ( Rev. 2:9), whom Jesus calls liars in Revelation 2:2.

Jesus warned the faithful, patient church at Thyatira that He had ; “ a few things against thee because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce my servants to commit fornication and to eat things sacrificed to idols”.

Jezebel embodied witchcraft, which is actually the “ power” behind most charismatic churches today. False Biblical doctrine is rampant throughout the world today, largely with the charismatics in the lead. With the dismissal of the King James Version there is an abundant diversity of wording in “Bibles” today. Before Westcott/ Hort took precedence  the King James Version was accepted worldwide as God’s immutable Word.

Not long after Adam was created witchcraft began to be practiced. That is what the pyramids, the Masonic Lodge, and the United Nations are all about, to name a few. The Egyptians worshipped the Satanic “ Green Man” utilized in Wiccan worship, and boldly displayed in movies now. Witchcraft  is synonymous with nature worship,( going green) , which has been inculcated in at least one generation of schoolchildren, if not two recently. Actually there are more, but, the last several decades have been blatant about it with movies, cartoons, Barbie Dolls, Wiccan propaganda, psychic detectives, talking to the dead, Alice Bailey’s United Nations propaganda , ad infinitum.

Jesus said these things must occur before He returns. If you say they must not, I would like to see your Biblical refutation . Even to a fairly literate unsaved child your argument would seem foolish.

Matthew 24 is the best single Bible chapter articulating Christ’s return and the events preceeding it and following. Embroidered throughout the Bible are other verses buttressing this well known chapter’s timetable ignored by modern moneymakers.

The United Nations has sought prayer from Wiccans , Buudhists, Muslims , Unversalists, Rosicrucians , ad nauseum, to pray for  “ the coming one” who will be the antichrist. Their obvious Wiccan request for prayer in groups of threes ,( triangles), and other New Age agenda are blatant to any real Christian. Alice , long deceased, who talked to mediums, said Jesus failed in His first attempt, but her anticipated “avatar” will succeed. Following are some of the United Nations’ self indicting  websites.

Yet, Jesus said in verse 5 that men shall come saying, “ I am Christ”. How difficult is it to understand the exponential increase in drug use and witchcraft propaganda disseminated in the last century will result in much more demon possession. The antichrist will be possessed by the devil. What about the ten kings, ( the ten toes)? They will possess tremendous power also. Logic dictates they will also be possessed, as well as the false prophet. Long ago the self admitted , life committed communist Mr. Gorbachev said we need to return to nature worship. He, and the charismatics say the church needs new prophets. Hopefully you will not believe these new “ prophets”. Charismatics and pagan witches will be the new paradigm prophets propelling the new world order toward obeisance at the antichrist’s seat . Paul said he would rather speak five words in an intelligible language, than speak ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. Paul spoke in tongues more than anyone else, yet,  he highly downplayed “tongues” utilized by Margaret MacDonald in the 1830’s and thousands of other charismatic deceivers today. God has given you the entire Bible. What new revelation need He make regarding prophecy? Christians understand Revelation with a little study. The book explains itself quite clearly defining the main characters and their actions and the consequences of their actions.

Let’s continue to verse 6. Jesus hasn’t returned yet as He states He will in verses 29 and 30, where it is clear He will come after the tribulation. He says here in verse 6;
“ And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet”.  So, wars will always be taking place
until He returns. There is nothing significant about verse 6.

Verse 7 reads; “ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom : there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places”.  Again, these things are normal historic events that will continue until He comes.

Verse 8 reads; “ All these are the beginnings of sorrows”.  These maladies will be just the beginning of the world’s trouble in the last days.

Verses 8-14 are key because they foretell of the great tribulation during which the 144,000 Jews will be killed . If the church has been “raptured”  why were these  Jewish believers “left behind”. What Biblical evidence is there to validate that lie? There is none.
Perhaps the “ raptured” believers would not have been courageous enough to be faithful
unto death. Maybe God was being kind to those weak ones , and left the strong behind to
suffer Jacob’s trouble. How absurd, and unbiblical. Would Jesus contradict Himself and
leave behind the one and take the ninety-nine?  That’s what He would be doing if He left
the 144,000. Why would He leave them behind? He wouldn’t, because He hasn’t taken His church before the tribulation , nor until He judges Jerusalem.

Verse 9 continues; “ Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake”.

Verse 10; “ And then many shall be offended, and shall betray one another , and shall hate one another”.

Verse 11; “ And many false prophets shall rise , and shall deceive many”.

Verse 12; “ And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”.

Verse 13; “ But he that shall endure to the end , the same shall be saved ”.

Verse 14; “ And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”.

With the promotion of the heretical Westcott/ Hort Bible and the Scofield Bible long ago, a perverted gospel has been disseminated worldwide, and has been accepted by the uninformed and the unwary.

Jesus said He would not return “ until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled” in Luke 21:24. Why didn’t Jesus mention the fact that there were any saved Gentiles during the tribulation, but only the 144,000 Jews?  Luke 21:24’s reference was Daniel 9:27 which states; “ And he shall confirm the (a) covenant with many for one week; and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, and that shall be determined shall be poured upon the desolate”. Daniel 9:27 refers to the antichrist making a covenant and stopping sacrifices. He will do this in the newly rebuilt temple which hasn’t been constructed  yet .

Revelation 11:8 clearly states  the two witnesses , ( one of whom will be Elijah, Mal. 4:5),  are killed in Jerusalem’s streets; “ And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified”. Jerusalem is “ that great city” referred to often in the book of Revelation ; that “great city” the harlot. Where was Jesus crucified as verse 11:8 says?  The place where “ our Lord was crucified”, was  Jerusalem. Why does Jesus call Jerusalem a spiritual Sodom and Gomorrah in this verse?  Was there something holy about Sodom and Gomorrah , or were they examples of detestable idolatry and sin God could no longer stand?  The only people responding positively to the two witnesses in Jerusalem will be the 144,000 Jews. Thanks to men like Westcott and Hort and Darby and Scofield a false awaiting harvest of wheat will continue to spread like the crabgrass it is.

The 144,000 faithful tribulation saints will be raised from the dead before Christ’s return, “ But the rest of the dead lived not again until the 1000 years were finished. This is the first resurrection” says Rev. 20:5.  If the 144,000 are the first resurrection , who is to be the second? Martha knew it when she told Jesus she knew that there would be a “ resurrection at the last day” ( John 11:24) .  Jesus did not correct her. The rest of the saints are still “ asleep” as  Martha’s brother Lazarus was. The Bible says king David is still asleep and not yet in heaven  in Acts 2:29; “ For David is not ascended into the heavens”. The Bible does not contradict itself. David said he knew he would be with God some day. The Bible says it hasn’t happened yet.

So, by Matthew 24: 1-13 Jesus gives no indication He has returned. He will do that “after the tribulation of those days”, when a great trumpet will sound and the saints will be raised. If they are in heaven they must be lying down , for they will be “ raised”.

Let’s continue to verse 15 which speaks of the antichrist sitting in the temple, which will necessitate it’s being rebuilt. Again the term desolation is used. His blasphemous false usurpation of God’s authority will be the fulfillment of the desolate house Jerusalem will personify, taken over by seven spirits more wicked than the first occupant. Jesus tells Christians they will see this when He says, “ when ye therefore shall see”. Jesus wasn’t addressing unbelieving Jews in the Bible, but true Jews whose hearts’ have been circumcised by Him.

He tells the world’s few remaining Jewish believers to  “ flee to the mountains “ in verse 16.  If believers ever were going to be “raptured” this might be a good time . But, no, Jesus tells this group of Jews they will remain on earth to be “ afflicted and killed”.

Verses 17-20 warn of the urgency to evade persecution of the antichrist.

Verse 21  speaks of the “ great tribulation” which will be unlike any world history of persecution ever before.

Verse 22  says the days would  “be shortened”, and that some will be saved;  “ And except those days shall be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened”.

Verse 23 states; “ For there shall arise false Christs , and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that , if it were possible they shall deceive the very elect ”.  Look at a concordance to verify that “ the elect” are Christians. Why would God have left some of His elect behind to suffer tribulation, but selectively choose others to be raptured away to escape it? Think about it . It just doesn’t make sense logically, and it does not make sense Biblically. The pre and mid trib rapture crowd lose credibility here,
as they have Biblically for the past two hundred plus years.

Jesus warns Christians in verse 25 that He has told them what was coming. Surely the United Nations groupies, the Universalists, the Masons , the charismatic and Kaballah crowd will be able to “ enlighten” others not as anointed as these “seekers”. Surely there will be many new prophecies abounding regarding Christ’s return. Surely they will be in reference to the anticipated antichrist the world is thirsting for now.

In verse 26 Jesus says; “ Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold , he is in the dessert; go not forth: behold he is in the secret chambers believe it not”.

In verse 27 Jesus says that His coming will be like lightning. It will be tremendously powerful, and shocking. Perhaps then the rocks really will cry out. “ For as lightning cometh out of the east and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be”. The unsaved will know He has returned and will cry for the mountains and rocks to fall on them and hide them “ from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand ?” ( Rev. 6:16,17) There has been no intimation of a “rapture” thus far.

Verse 28 says ; “ For wheresoever the carcass is there will the eagles be gathered together”. Eagles are not usually carrion eaters like vultures, but they have been for millennia symbolized in powerful nations’ monuments and seals such as those of the United States, Germany, Rome and others . Curiously , Obadiah prophesied of the eagle; “ Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down saith the Lord”. ( Obadiah 7:4)

Verse 29 clearly stipulates; Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the earth shall be shaken”.

Verse 30 continues; And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory”.

Verse 31 is the verse clearly indicating Jesus’ elect being taken to be with Him. This is not the resurrection when the dead are raised, but , it is the snatching away of saints; “ And He shall send away his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other”. There are no Bible verses relating to a major trumpet call like this until after the sixth angel sounds pronouncing more judgment on that great city, Jerusalem , in Rev. 9: 13-15.
Jesus will come at the “ last trump”.  Jesus gathers together His elect in verse 31. He made no mention of it in His previous prophetic warnings in this chapter. If He gathers His elect after the tribulation, as He had stated, why didn’t He take them with him in the unbiblical  “Pre-tribulation, or mid-tribulation rapture?”  Because it is unbiblical.

Jesus will not return until He has poured out His wrath upon Jerusalem for 3 and  1/2 years, or forty and two months , as Rev. 11:2 stipulates ; “ But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not : for it is given unto the Gentiles : and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months”. Also interesting to note here are the facts that the third temple has been built, and indication of the times of the Gentiles being fulfilled may also allude to their sacking Jerusalem again. Jesus will not return to stop this.

During the forty and two months the two witnessing olive trees convert  the 144,000 believing Jews of Israel’s twelve tribes.

When the Holy Spirit moved men to write of Jesus’ second coming in Mark 13, verses 24-27 say in essence what was said in Matt. 24: 29-31, except that in Mark the powers of heaven shall be shaken , as the powers of earth shall be shaken in Matthew.

The plagues the two witnesses send, ( as Moses did in Exodus 7:19),  are sounded by the seven angels sounding seven trumpets. There are only seven trumpet judgments sounded by seven angels who administer seven plagues  Rev. 15:5-8). The charismatic, and rapture crowd try to make you think there are more judgments, but there are not. If you cross reference about these judgements and angels sounding trumpets regarding the book of Revelation  you will discern that. The plagues come in one day according to Revelation 18:8 refers to Babylon, ( Jerusalem), “ who caused all nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication”.  God judges Jerusalem as He did Sodom and Gomorrah. God’s  bride is the church, not rebellious Jerusalem . He will not judge His bride whom he willl take away after the sixth trumpet sounds. After He judges Jerusalem a remnant other than the dead 144,000 tribulation saints  become believers. Original Babylon was not betrothed to God. Jerusalem was, but became a harlot, the cage of every unclean bird , as referenced by a few verses such as; all Isiaiah chapter 21, Jer. 3:1,7 : 30:31 ; Hosea  4:15 ; Ezekiel ch. 16 (all), Ezekiel ch. 23 (all), Num. 25:1; Ps.106:39 ; Ex. 34:15 ; Is. 1:21 ; Hosea 2:2 ; Rev. 11:8 ; 18:18; 17:18 ; 18:21-24 ; Rev. 16: 19 ; Rev. 17:5. These verses are a few proving a Jewish antichrist; Dan. 11:37,   2nd Thesselonians 2:4 , John 5:4 , and 2nd Peter 3:3,4.

Luke 13:33 states : “ it cannot be possible that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem”. In the next verse He says that Jerusalem is the city that “ killest the prophets and  stoneth them that are sent unto thee”.  Her house was left unto her desolate until the antichrist moves in and controls the world from that great city. Do you think Jesus will defer His anger to old Babylon Iraq? Clearly, and Biblically, no . Judgment will begin “ at the house of the Lord”.
1st Thesselonians 4:16,17 state ; “  For the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds , to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” . Notice what God says is happening when Christians are caught up together. The Lord is
descending from heaven which can only happen after the sixth angel has sounded during God’s judgment on Jerusalem and the world. The dead in Christ are raised. If they are in heaven, again I ask, why are they raised? Why are they lying down in heaven? Or, are they asleep, as the Bible indicates which is the case in many verses using the Jewish idiom , “sleep, slept with his fathers “? And this verse says  “ to meet the Lord in the air” .  If they were already in heaven they haven’t met Him yet, because the intimation here is that this will be a first time meeting. Or did they wander off somewhere in heaven for a while away from Jesus and have to meet Him again?

1st Corinthians 15:52 was referenced to the previously mentioned verses in 1st Thesselonians 4:16,17.   It states; “ In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed”. Verse 51 before this mentioned that Christians were asleep, i.e.,  “ for we shall not all sleep”. Biblical sleep is death as Jesus referred to Lazarus being asleep. Jesus said the young girl He raised from death was not dead, but “ sleepeth”. I have made another study on Christian sleep, which is death.  Why was the term used long ago on gravestones, “rest in peace”?  Again,  regarding these last several verses and the unbiblical “ rapture”,  Jesus takes those alive and dead,(asleep) at the same time. They are all Christians. Why does Jesus put some to sleep and leave them in their graves, yet according to some people, when you die Jesus immediately takes you to heaven.?  Those who are in heaven must be asleep, lying down, for they must  be raised , because again, He will raise them ( the dead) first as 1st Thesselonians 4 : 16 says. Why will they need to meet Him again? Of course they have already met Him on earth, but this second meeting is the great anticipated eternal meeting which will occur after the sixth trumpet at least.

In Revelation 11 the two candlestick witnesses have pronounced judgment upon Israel the harlot, and the rest of the world . They are killed and ascend to heaven in a cloud. A great earthquake occurs and 1/10th  of Jerusalem falls and 7,000 men are slain. Verse 14 states now that “ The second woe is past, and behold the third woe cometh quickly”. Revelation 6:12 also refers to a great earthquake at the opening of the sixth seal. The 7th , and last trumpet hasn’t sounded yet and Jesus has not returned by this time. He will not return until He takes His wrath out upon rebellious unbelieving Jerusalem. Revelation 9:12 reveals ; “ one woe is past; and behold , there come two woes hereafter”. This verse referenced Rev. 8:13 which says; “ And I beheld and heard an angel flying in the midst of heaven, saying, with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels which are yet to sound”. Three woes, three more trumpets. Jesus hasn’t returned yet.

Acts 2:20 foretold of the events that are shown in Revelation and elsewhere prior to Jesus’ return ; “ The sun shall be turned into darkness , and the moon into blood , before that great and notable day of the Lord come”. This verse references Mt. 24:29in my old KJV Bible.

I alluded to Revelation 6:12 a little earlier. Here it is ; “ And I beheld , when he had opened the sixth seal , and lo there was a great earthquake ; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair , and the moon became as blood ”. Revelation 16:18 was referenced among other verses in Acts 2:20. It reads ; “ And there were voices , and thunders , and lightnings ; and there was a great earthquake , such as was not since men were upon the earth , so mighty an earthquake , and so great ”.  This verse referenced Revelation 8:5 which reads ; “ And the angel took the censer , and filled it with fire of the altar , and cast it into the earth : and there were voices , and thunderings , and lightnings , and an earthquake “.  The sequences of chapter 8 starts with the opening of the seventh seal during which there is “ silence in heaven about the space of half an hour “. Then seven angels stand before God and they are given seven trumpets. Another angel stands at the altar with a golden censer with much incense , and he offers that censer with “ the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne “. The smoke of the incense ascends “ up before God out of the angel’s hand “. Then the voices, thunderings, lightnings and an earthquake occur. This all happens with the opening of the seventh seal when the angels “  prepared themselves to sound “ in verse 6. Then God’s wrath wrath upon the world begins. Jesus hasn’t returned yet because He said these things must take place  “ before that great and notable day of the Lord come”, as Acts 2:20 stated.

Jesus had not returned before the sixth angel sounded which loosed the “ four angels which are bound in the river Euphrates “ in preparation of the battle of Armageddon. Remember, when he comes what will occur, as stated previously? Every eye shall see him, so if he had returned here, he made himself invisible, and he contradicted himself , which he cannot do.

I find it impossible to believe that men like Mr. Darby who trusted Westcott and Hort would be given special revelation by God regarding Christ’s return.

Matthew 13:30 should be another major verse throwing a monkey wrench into his false assumptions of God’s works and timing. It reads ; “ Let both grow together until the harvest  : and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers , Gather ye together first the tares , and bind them in bundles to burn them : but gather the wheat into my barn”.

Jesus will return for the battle of Armageddon. He makes war and judges righteously as Revelation 19:11 states; “ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness, he doth judge and make war”. Clearly this verse speaks of Jesus. Jesus rides a white horse. Who said He can’t be one of the four horsemen the rapture crowd misidentifies?  He need not ride alongside these marauders .Jesus is enigmatically interspersed throughout the Bible in locations the rejecting Jewish elders couldn’t comprehend. White is symbolic of holiness , not deceptive paleness or other colors. Rev. 6:1,2 reads ;  “ And I saw , and behold a white horse; and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer”. Rev. 19:14 says; “ And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean”.  Rev. 19 :19 says Jesus will return to fight Armageddon with His elect He has gathered and raised from the dead. He will be on a horse; “ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse and against his army”. There are no Bible references indicating Jesus returns until He brings his elect with him for the battle of Armageddon. He will return in a cloud and every eye shall see him. It will be obvious, not secret. He will return when he is told by the angel with power over fire to “ cast the vine into the great winepress of the wrath of God”  in Rev. 19:19.  After Jesus returns and has chastened Israel He will rule her again. He had hidden his face from her because of her sins and given her into the hands of her enemy.  Jesus “treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God”( Rev. 19:15) when He returns. This is the correct understanding of timing regarding the false
“rapture”  fabricated by John Nelson Darby and perpetuated by men like Scofield,  LaHaye, Lindsay, the charismatics and  thousands of others who cannot rightly divide the word of truth because they believe a lie. Lindsay and LaHaye have many admirable qualities and are correct on many doctrinal issues of Christianity. But they are wrong about  the timing and circumstances regarding Christ’s return because they believe Darby’s deception . Please devour God’s word by using a reliable King James version Bible with cross references , and rightly divide the word of truth yourself. It can be a daunting task pertaining to the topic, but there is nothing more worthwhile to do than continuing to examine yourself to see whether you be in the faith. Almost all of today’s seminaries have been corrupted by false doctrine now defended heartily and unquestioningly accepted by the majority of those who call themselves Christians. Use God’s word to divide His Word.  Make your own studies and you will get better understanding, but do not use corrupted versions . See how much different and better the King James version truly is. You’ll be pleasantly surprised . May God bless you in your studies.

Antichrist is killed and resurrected

God’s judgment given by seven angels with seven trumpets

Thunderings, lightnings, voices

Sun darkened , moon turns to blood

When you see these things happen lift up your head and get ready for Jesus’return.
But you should always be making yourself ready .

Other than these events,  Darby , LaHaye, and Mr. Lindsay interpreted much about Christ’s return correctly. I am more than willing to read anyone else’s refutation of my better division of the word of truth if someone can refute me using the similar old King James Bible. I could have included many more verses in here to buttress my arguments, but for brevity’s sake have kept it fairly short and sweet. Christians have been misled for centuries that the antichrist will rule from Rome . The Bible clearly refutes that, as it does the heretical teachings of Mr. Darby and his “ rapture” prior to the tribulation or following it .Christians need to prepare themselves for serious persecution soon. Mr. Darby’s idea of escapism makes one lax about maintaining one’s crown.

I've put several posts like up this before with no problem . After my correct critique of David Barton just preceding this something happened to the blog and I cannot change the original nicely typed form .

    Pretrib Rapture Pride

    by Bruce Rockwell

Pretrib rapture promoters like Thomas Ice give the impression they know more than the early Church Fathers, the Reformers, the greatest Greek New Testament scholars including those who produced the KJV Bible, the founders of their favorite Bible schools, and even their own mentors!
Ice's mentor, Dallas Sem. president John Walvoord, couldn't find anyone holding to pretrib before 1830 - and Walvoord called John Darby and his Brethren followers "the early pretribulationists" (RQ, pp. 160-62). Ice belittles Walvoord and claims that several pre-1830 persons, including "Pseudo-Ephraem" and a "Rev. Morgan Edwards," taught a pretrib rapture. Even though the first one viewed Antichrist's arrival as the only "imminent" event, Ice (and Grant Jeffrey) audaciously claim he expected an "imminent" pretrib rapture! And Ice (and John Bray) have covered up Edwards' historicism which made a pretrib rapture impossible! Google historian Dave MacPherson's "Deceiving and Being Deceived" for documentation on these and similar historical distortions.
The same pretrib defenders, when combing ancient books, deviously read "pretrib" into phrases like "before Armageddon," "before the final conflagration," and "escape all these things"!
BTW, the KJV translators' other writings found in London's famed British Library (where MacPherson has researched) don't have even a hint of pretrib rapturism. Is it possible that Ice etc. have found pretrib "proof" in the KJV that its translators never found?
Pretrib merchandisers like Ice claim that nothing is better pretrib proof than Rev. 3:10. They also cover up "Famous Rapture Watchers" (on Google) which shows how the greatest Greek NT scholars of all time interpreted it.
Pretrib didn't flourish in America much before the 1909 Scofield Bible which has pretribby "explanatory notes" in its margins. Not seen in the margins was jailed forger Scofield's criminal record throughout his life that David Lutzweiler has documented in his recent book "The Praise of Folly" which is available online.
Biola University's doctrinal statement says Christ's return is "premillennial" and "before the Tribulation." Although universities stand for "academic freedom," Biola has added these narrow, restrictive phrases - non-essentials the founders purposely didn't include in their original doctrinal statement when Biola was just a small Bible institute! And other Christian schools have also belittled their founders.
Ice, BTW, has a "Ph.D" issued by a tiny Texas school that wasn't authorized to issue degrees! Ice now says that he's working on another "Ph.D" via the University of Wales in Britain. For light on the degrees of Ice's scholarliness, Google "Bogus degree scandal prompts calls to wind up University of Wales," "Thomas Ice (Bloopers)," "be careful in polemics - Peripatetic Learning," and "Walvoord Melts Ice." Also Google "Thomas Ice (Hired Gun)" - featured by media luminary Joe Ortiz on his Jan. 30, 2013 "End Times Passover" blog.
Other fascinating Google articles include "The Unoriginal John Darby," "X-raying Margaret," "Edward Irving in Unnerving," "Pretrib Rapture Politics," "Pretrib Rapture Secrets," "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty," "Pretrib Hypocrisy," "Pretrib Rapture Secrecy," and "Roots of Warlike Christian Zionism" - most from the author of "The Rapture Plot," the most accurate documentation on pretrib rapture history.
Can anyone guess who the last proud pretrib rapture holdout will be?

    The Real Morgan Edwards

    by George Wilson

In 1995, in a 24-page booklet on 18th century pastor Morgan Edwards, evangelist John Bray claimed that Edwards taught a pretrib rapture in his 1788 book titled "Two Academical Exercises...."
Those echoing Bray include Thomas Ice who wrote "Morgan Edwards: Another Pre-Darby Rapturist." Edwards' 1788 work can be found on the internet.
In order to claim that Edwards held to pretrib, candidates for the I-can-find-pretrib-earlier-in-church-history-than-you-can medal - including Bray, Ice, LaHaye, Frank Marotta etc. - have intentionally covered up Edwards' "historicism," his belief that the tribulation had already been going on for hundreds of years. (How can anyone in the tribulation go back in time and look for a pretrib rapture?)
Here's proof of Edwards' historicism and its companion "day-year" theory which can view the 1260 tribulation "days" as "years."
On p. 14 Edwards described the Ottoman Empire (which was then already 400 years old) as the Rev. 13:11 "beast." On p. 20 he defined "Antichrist" as the already 1000-year-old "popery" and the "succession of persons" known as "Popes" - his other Rev. 13 "beast." He necessarily viewed Rev. 13's 1260-day period as 1260 literal years in order to provide enough time for his two "beasts."
On p. 19, while discussing "the ministry of the witnesses" of Rev. 11, he allotted "about 204 years" for their "years to perform" - years impossible to fit into a 3.5-year period!
What about Edwards' rapture? On pp. 21-23 he wrote about "the appearing of the son of man in the clouds, coming to raise the dead saints and change the living, and to catch them up to himself....The signs of Christ's appearing in the clouds will be extraordinary 'wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and famines,' &. (Matth. xxiv. 6-8.)....The signs of his coming, in the heavens will be 'the trump of God [I Thess. 4:16], vapor and smoke, which will darken the sun and moon [Matt. 24:29],'...and also cause those meteors called 'falling stars'....
Right after his combined rapture/advent (!), Edwards said: "And therefore, now, Antichrist...will...counterfeit the preceding wonders in heaven...causing 'fire to come down from heaven'....And that godhead he will now assume, after killing the two witnesses....Now the great persecution of the Jews will begin...for time, times, and half a time...."
Thomas Ice's article on Edwards (see first par. above) quoted only the first 27 words in the above quotation, ending with "to himself." This sort of unethical revisionism is constantly employed by many pretrib defenders.
Not only had most of Edwards' historicist tribulation occurred before his combined rapture/advent, but his Antichrist kept raging for 3.5 years even after the Matt. 24 signs! No wonder his tutor advised him to correct his thesis!
To read Edwards' complete work, Google "[PDF] Two Academical Exercises...www.breadoflifebiblestudy.com."
For more info on Edwards, Google "McPherson Page" (click on a reproduction of "Cover-Ups"). Also Google "Deceiving and Being Deceived" by historian Dave MacPherson.

  3. The return of Christ is history. As he said in Matthew 24:34, "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." Which generation shall not pass? The one to whom he was speaking. He did return in AD 70 to bring judgement on the generation that put him to death, the generation that refused to receive him as the Christ, the Messiah, foretold in the OT. According to Paul, Jesus is now reigning, from heaven, along with his church here on earth, and he must reign until all his enemies have become a "stool for his feet." Then he turns his victorious Kingdom over to the Father. Jesus came already at the end of the age. Which age? The Jewish age of temple worship and animal sacrifice. Such sacrifice need not be brought back as Jesus now has paid it all, Jesus died once for all. Hebrews makes it clear that no more animal sacrifice is needed. So why build a new temple in Jerusalem today? (God will never let that happen, by the way.) The only people who want to rebuild the temple are the Zionists and the dispensational Christians. Why? because neither buy into the fact that Messiah has come. Jesus came and, via the Roman army, utterly destroyed the Herodian temple just as he predicted. The modern evangelical church has been duped by millenialism, especially of the dispensational type. Jesus reigns from heaven now! He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords now! The end of the Jewish age has given way to the Kingdom age, and history as we have known it will not end until Jesus hand over the his Kingdom to the Father. We have much work to do to fulfill God's call to the church to preach the gospel to every creature. Let's not sit around looking to the sky for rescue. Rather, let us bravely, and with enthusiasm, continue to proclaim the gospel for "it is the power of God unto salvation . . . "
